Dwarf Fountain Grass, Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Hameln’ is a fast-growing perennial grass that has fox-tail like flowers beginning in summer lasting through early winter. Hameln growth habit is compact and round, the stems arch on all sides giving this variety its fountain look. Blooms are formed with light tan during summer, the bloom color changes to pinkish brown in the fall, with the leaves becoming bright golden to bronze.
